This was some kind of steampunk/magic AU in my mind, with Tony being a mage/inventor and Steve having his strength enhanced by magic. And then they hang out together <3

Chain and Train aka THE BESTIES

So when they meet cause of time shenanigans I don’t feel like coming up with now, Chain has a big fanboy moment cause, like, he is a fan of the heroes before him lol

I hc Train to be a big nerd and thus a lil awkward so Chain’s extroverted energy was a lil overwhelming at first, especially since Chain just wanted to be friends, like full on parasocial relationship here LMAO

(which is the opposite when he meets ww!link since he’s intimidated by him a lil bit lol)

thanks to Key’s constant stories of Train since like, he’s her grandpa, Chain is all like “I feel like I know u already 🥹💖” at him while Train is like “who tf are you?😭”

They eventually become friends, Train’s introverted vibes match well with Chain’s extroverted ones.

Chain’s the one who goes “excuse me he asked for no pickles!” In their dynamic lmao

So I had this idea that big chain business refuse to operate in Gotham.

Not only is it a negative net gain bc of property damage— Gothamites are more than willing to screw them over.

Sure it’s temping to go for the cheaper option, but you know what’s more cheaper? Stealing.

But gothamites got respect for one another. They’re not gonna steal from Meg the small struggling business owner. You’ll get targeted by two different gangs if you hurt Meg. Meg is willing to give her left leg for her loyal customers and that gets her respect.

But McDonald’s isn’t Meg. McDonald’s got no respect.

This is also why there are so many local chain restaurants, like Batburger.

At least they understand if they start charging half a cent more the people will revolt.

The people of Gotham may hate each other but they got class loyalty.
